Spray On

Where is the fine line between fashion and fun?

I might have found it

A new fragrance has been released by British design label Boudicca called Wode.

This fragrance is actually quite lovely smelling, but it comes with quite an overpowering distinction.

Wode actually turns you blue.
In an effort to turn fragrance into fun, when you spray Wode on you it actually acts like a spraycan of bright blue navy paint appearing all over you for a second before magically vanishing.

What I find most odd is how Boudicca has chosen to advertise their new fun featured fragrance. They don't really show the cool factor or joking effect of the fragrance, and instead came out with a seemingly morbid ad..

Interesting..but kind of makes me want to run in the opposite direction.

Wode is described as spicy with Juniper Berries, Cardamon, nutmeg absolute, clary sage, coriander seed, and angelica root. It also has some lighter floral notes like black hemlock and the smell of raw opium.

It can also come packaged in steel and black looking classic spray paint cans.

I can't really see using this fragrance for every day use and just spraying blue all over me before walking out the door to class, but thankfully they do offer a clear version if you fall in love with the fragrance.

65 pounds and available only in the UK Mainland.

I didn't know you were a total beauty member:) They finally found my paperwork after 3 months (!)

Blue perfume? Um, no thanks. What happens if/when it gets on your clothes?

I am! I saw you on the weekend web tour I was so excited to see a familiar face!! Congrats on you being one as well!!

It's actually supposed to be sprayed on your clothes, but they say that the blue turns to clear and invisible and goes away within a few seconds, but seriously I don't think I'd have the courage to spray this over clothes I really love!
